This sounds dreadful!

I've been concerned about coming into NYC with the car, parking and all that in this mess. Judging by experiences in NYC with Big Snow in the past, I can't imagine things being normal for pedestrians or vehicles -- and this time, even subways -- by Friday AM. el V, of course, is ridiculing my negativity.

However, out NY Eve plans for which we were coming in, just got cancelled for reasons I cannot go into -- they don't have to do with us. So I'm wondering even more so. I have no interest in coming INTO NYC NYE when not doing something special, since I'm currently LIVING elsewhere.

el V does have to to be in for rehearsals with PG and LOLO for the gig at le Poisson Rouge the next weekend though.

I hope you get dug out soon!

Love, c.

Just read your post about NYE plans. I suppose that the drive to NYC will be no worst from the weather. Not sure about neighborhood streets being clear for parking. No significant melting yet. No plowing of secondary streets outside of Manhattan yet. The gradual warming might be effective by Friday. Good luck.

We will be going the Wash DC (via one of those cheapo megabus deals for a quiet NYE and day.

It's gonna be a mess, she says with gloom.

Have a quiet and sparkly NY's Eve in D.C., you two!
