Did I tell you the one about....

The Teen got the hots for owning a car when I rented a van for a week of errands recently. So he piled together $800 for a '90 Nissan Maxima. So far that $800 car has cost $500 (in two days) and that only includes the title transfer, 1 month insurance and tools (wrench, jack) which weren't included for changing the tire which is shredded since it went flat when he was giving a friend a ride home and then he drove it 10+ miles while flat to get himself home.

And it doesn't include the shocks and strut the people he bought it from said it needs.

When do we just cut it loose as a bad bad investment. My hope is that no one get injured or worse as it disintegrates.
