This whirl wind 2 day visit to Chicago has been completely filled with work so I had no opportunity to go out and select food of my choosing.
So on the way to the airport I bought a small 10" sausage & mushroom deep dish pizza from Pizano's: one of the several descendents from the Malnati clan that claims to be the creator of the Chicago style deep dish pizza while they worked at Uno's back in the 1930s.
Anyway, first I salute the TSA at O'hara airport who allowed me to bring my pizza in with me.
Next I salute the bartender who allowed me to walk away from the bar with a bottle.
Finally I have only myself to blame that I ate 80% of the pizza. I am bursting. Hope I don't disturb my fellow passengers on the flight back.
