I have never eaten noodle soup, unless you mean chicken and noodle soup. I like tomato soup with a grilled cheese when there is snow on the ground.

oodle noodle

oh shaye this noodle soup is so very good. they make the noodles fresh and by hand and do it so well. the noodles are like inch long thin cowrie shells.

the tibetans have spent ages perfecting this light but luscious stew of a soup. it is called Gutse Rithuk:
Hand-rolled tibetan pasta cooked in a country lamb stew with daikon radish and spinach. I just read that it is from the High Plateau. i wish i could bring you some. maybe there are tibetans in Indiana. isn't it flat like a plateau?

then there are days when tomato soup and grilled cheese this the spot. the soup of my youth for winter is potato soup with milk broth but i cannot do dairy any more so that is best left a memory of long ago.

ooh. no broadband. you have my condolences.

Re: oodles of noodles make Kunga angry...gawd.

It sounds interesting...I should try some, broaden my horizons, for once. Speaking of Tibetans and Indiana,Bloomington to be specific, where I am at the moment. There are many Tibetans here....in fact the Dalai Lamas brother is a professor at the University,I.U.,and there is a Tibetan Shrine not too far off campus. Richard Gere came to the opening/premiere/christening and that excited everyone more than the fact that the Dalai Lama was also in town for the same event. I have been to the shrine and it is peaceful and eerie. I went to High School with 2 of the DL's nephews...one of them sold my friend heroin under the guise that it was hash...omg...when my friend complained that he got sick Kunga punched him! I guess all that harmony did not rub off...oh well. Now the 3 nephews run the 2 Tibetan restaraunts in town,The Snow Lion

I wish I had broadband....so I could download 24/7.....wasting time is such a precious gift.
