news reals

In regard to the situation in Japan, I am spending too too much time reading whatever I can google and watching tv feeds.

I want specific hard good information on the situation but the media is filled with good intentioned sad stories on the damage from the quake/tsunami. Where is real information on the status of the roads / trains / food supply / refugees.

I want the real specific status of the nukes, and the media is filling the void of real info from TEPCO with speculation and ominous and confusing images.

If I could functionally read Japanese, I suspect it would only a little bit better.

Clear concise accurate information is a limited commodity in the information age. <= another uninformative homily
