Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

why thank you.

oh, i shall definitely make finding you a gift a priority for the 'morrow. right now I am listening to the dress yourself song you posted, after having listened for nearly two hours to the come2MY-BirthdayParty mix you posted. these gifts must be rewarded in return. (by the way, the link to the complaints mp3 isn't working...)

I have nothing planned for tomorrow. For many years I scowled and growled at any effort to celebrate my b'day and now all whom I know have been trained to ignore it. much to my chagrin, of course.

just realized that my youngest daughter was born in the year of my 40th b'day. She is now a successful young model and actress and author (not in this country).

oh, what a world.

cheers.

Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

Fascinating you make me curious but i do not want to pry or seem "pushy"...You must be very proud of your Daughter and your son...he is 5 and drinks cocoa:) I will look into the broken link...i am so happy you appreciate it....I like doing it when I have time...I try to keep goodies on the back burner especially for that...Andy Warhols mother told him to always bring a present when you visit a friend because that will cause the friend to think of you and well you can not have enough people thinking of you:) Have you ever heard the album by John Cale and Lou reed called Songs for Drella? It all about Warhol...it is such a great listen I highly recommend it:

Carry on.

Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

i am very afraid of songs for drella. It was released while I lived on Planet Parenthood and wasn't aware of the world outside of job and diapers. it will have to sneak up on me. I am sure that if I went out and procured it that I would find it to be dreadful. whereas if i find it for 50 cents at the salvation army, i'll have little expectation beyond curiousity and i'll have a chance at hearing what there is to hear.

as for son and daughter. a while back i got married. it was a disaster for all involved and i will never pay off the debt the marriage generated. marriage lasted only barely a decade but there is this residue, a boy and a girl, whom i find facinating. most likely all parents do, but i always run around thinking i am the first one to discover America and don't notice the skyscrapers until I stumble into one and bruise my nose. And then there is new reason for facination.

curious. checking to see just when songs for drella was released i see that Warhol died a few months before my son was born. there i go again...

Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

Oww ,I have many of those albums locked away in my subconcious ready to trigger shakes, sweat, and palpatations. It is funny you mention .50 cents at a Salvo...guess where i got my cassette of Songs for Drella? You are quick, yes it was a Salvation army in Culver City near Hal Roach studios, there is a big mural of laurel and Hardy visible...oh Hollywood is so quaintly surreal. Everything is about the opening weekend grosses and the iconization of dead "stars" every day they seem to give a star out on the famous blvd....people like "the lady from those burger king ads" now recieve stars on the walk of fame...I think you may have to screw honorary mayor Johnny Grant and he looks like a weasel.

Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

The "where's the beef" lady has a star on the walk of the flaming chee'burger? did she really screw Johnny Grant? Will you? I hope not. Politics is so messy.

all my love.

Re: Happy Birthday to you sir!

I will make my male cousin have gay-sex with Mr Johnny Grant because i feel my cousin has said "I am no fag" too much to ever be believed...and it would be like killing 2 birds with one sexy stone...Johnny Grant is from Hollywood...they like the pole and the hole:) forgive me I think that is a very gunny expression...I love strangers with candy...jerri blank..

Re: here's to you sir!

Shaye, you are so macho! and in control! keep coming back for more and I will surrender. I do not want to know about Johnny Grant. I didn't want to know about Giuliani either but was I given a choice? No.

I know nothing of Strangers with Candy....

Are you suggesting that I go to Mary's Fish Camp for a b'day dinner?

CLICK IT!

I've heard about the place for ages but have figured I am not even hip enough to walk down that street.

nightie nite.
